Our Eye Doctors and Staff

The Eye Care professionals at Williams Vision specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.

Our optometrists take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Dr Edward Willams

Edward Williams, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Edward P Williams is an Optometry Specialist in Denver, Colorado. He graduated with honors from Southern California College Of Optometry in 1985.

“I’ve been actively managing special visual problems since 1985, when I was fortunate to begin practicing with my father: since the inception of this practice in 1950 (originally in downtown Denver) we’ve been both a private practice and a research and development facility, and our current abilities to help people with complex or even apparently routine visual problems are continuously informed by this history. Equally fortunate has been the pleasure of working with this small and cheerful band of healers. However, far and away the greatest fortune has been enjoying the relationships with patients for seventy years and counting!

Dr. Emma Lundien

Emma Lundien, O.D.

A Colorado native, Emma Lundien, O.D. is happy to be practicing in her beautiful home state. She is a 2016 graduate of Pacific University’s College of Optometry and alumni of the University of Northern Colorado where she proudly participated in the Pride of the Rockies Marching Band while in Optometry school, she had the opportunity to provide care to rural areas of Guatemala on two separate occasions.  Dr. Lundien is passionate about providing high-quality care for patients of all ages and tries to take a holistic approach to how she practices. Her dedication to optometry is apparent in her involvement in the community outside of the office. She has participated in Von’s Vision, a charity developed by Von Miller of the Denver Broncos to help provide eye care to children in need. She also dedicates time serving on various committees of the Colorado Optometric Association. When Dr. Lundien is not caring for her patients, she spends time hiking, bike riding, discovering new restaurants, and cheering on the Broncos.

“I’ve been working with Dr. Williams for thirteen years, and I’ve been in the optical world all my life, since my mother was an optician as well. I love all aspects of patient care, and I love my second family at Williams Vision Group. I have 3 daughters as well, so my life is full.”

“I’ve run the optical at Williams Vision Group since 1983.  I’ve always loved the optical trade, the styling, and the solving of special problems related to eye wear. I’ve been fortunate to meet a lot of wonderful people over the years.”

“I’ve been working in the optical world for fifteen years. I’ve been a dispensing optician in multiple practices, and even helped optometry students with their dispensing credits at Pacific University in Oregon! I’ve spent the last seven years with Dr. Williams and you will see me manning the front desk. Outside of work you can find me sewing costumes to wear to the next comic or anime convention, or walking Cherry Creek while playing Pokémon Go! My wife Mikaela and I regularly play Dungeons & Dragons with friends. I look forward to meeting you!”
